Restoring your Wemo device to its original settings may be required in the following scenarios:
- Setup has failed
- The router settings have been changed
- The Wemo device is not detected by the Wemo App
- The Wemo device is not detected by the Wemo App after firmware update
- The Wemo device is blinking blue or green after firmware update
- Other issues
Step 1: Unplug your Wemo device.
Step 2: Hold down the Restore button.
Step 3: While holding the Restore button down, plug the Wemo device into a power outlet and continue to hold for 5 seconds. The Status light will begin to blink orange to signify it is restoring.
Step 4: Release the Restore button. It should take about 60 to 90 seconds. It will then blink blue and orange or green and orange when finished.
After restoring, you need to set it up again and may need to uninstall then reinstall the Wemo App.
