NEXT-GEN AC DELIVERS POWERFUL WI-FI TO MULTIPLE DEVICES
The Linksys MAX-STREAM AC2600 features MU-MIMO, the latest advance toward uninterrupted, simultaneous Wi-Fi connections.
ENJOY COMBINED WI-FI SPEEDS UP TO 800 MBPS (FOR 2.4 GHz) + 1733 MBPS (FOR 5 GHz)
POWERFUL PROCESSOR FOR IMPROVED PERFORMANCE
Our MAX-STREAM AC2600 Multi User-MIMO Router offers two dedicated Wi-Fi bands that deliver combined speeds of up to 800 Mbps (for 2.4 GHz) + 1733 Mbps (for 5 GHz). It also allows you to make your time online more efficient: simply assign high-bandwidth activities, like 4K video streaming, to the high-speed 5 GHz band, and leave basic activities like email to the 2.4 GHz band.
Enjoy fast-paced Wi-Fi activities such as online multiplayer gaming with the MAX-STREAM AC2600. Powered by a dual-core processor, it is capable of handling three simultaneous data streams. This results in improved Wi-Fi performance and faster Wi-Fi speeds to more devices.
HIGH-SPEED WIRED CONNECTIVITY WITH GIGABIT ETHERNET PORTS
IMPROVED WI-FI SPEED AND RANGE WITH BEAMFORMING
Connect more devices and share files at speeds 10x faster than Fast Ethernet with four Gigabit Ethernet ports. Connect a storage device and quickly transfer files. Or, share devices such as printers across your Wi-Fi network using the USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports.
Direct Wi-Fi signals to each of your mobile devices to increase signal strength and coverage with our MAX-STREAM Wi-Fi router using Beamforming technology. Play video games, listen to music, check emails, shop online, stream HD movies, and more, without having to worry about dropped signals.
Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) is a mechanism that is designed to allow wireless routers to operate on the 5GHz frequency band that is traditionally allocated to radar systems. The Linksys EA8100 is DFS certified which enables it to operate in a clear airspace denied to traditional routers. This certification triples the number of channels available at 80MHz.
A DFS band provides you with additional 5GHz channels which are less congested compared with the common Bands 1 and 4 on the 5GHz channels, enabling better performance in a router.
However, please note that:
When DFS is enabled, the router will monitor the radar signal frequency in the environment. If radar signals are detected on the current channel, the router will switch to an alternate channel automatically (Band 4 or Band 1).
During this channel switch, you might encounter a short disconnection on 5GHz, however, the connection will be restored after a short while.
After the channel switch, the router will keep the operating channel to either Band 4 or Band 1 until the next reboot.
Alternatively, you may manually select your preferred channel from the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi app or GUI.
