Checking or verifying the wireless settings on a Linksys router is important when connecting wireless devices to your network. This is the best route to take if you are unsure of your router’s wireless settings.
NOTE: The wireless network password is different from the router admin password. The network password is used when connecting computers and other devices to a wireless network. The router admin password is used to log in to the router’s web-based setup page.
There are three (3) important wireless settings on your Linksys router that you need to take note of before connecting to your wireless network:
• Wireless network name (SSID)
• Wireless security mode
• Security key (password / passphrase)
